FAQs

What is the dress code for your wedding?

We love any excuse to dress up. Please join us in lakeside formal attire. This means formal attire, but flats are okay as there will be sand.

The weather in October in Tahoe can be: beautiful and sunny, rainy and windy, or smokey. We’re hoping for the first, and plan to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside (though we have a plan B if necessary), and the reception will be indoors. We’d suggest bringing layers.

Are children welcome?

We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding however we are only able to invite the children of our immediate families and those with family involved in the ceremony. Please refer to your invitation.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

Please be sure to indicate your dietary restrictions on your RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate them. Please reach out if you are concerned.

Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?

Ahead of the weekend, please reach out to Skyler and Ahren directly. On the weekend of the wedding, if you have urgent concerns, please reach out to our wedding coordinator, Kayla Lewis. More personal concerns can be relayed to Jeremy Spitz, Jamie Hewett, or Brittany Reynoso. Closer to the wedding, we will post contact numbers here.

Will Skyler be making the wedding cake?

Skyler will be enjoying her weekend as stress-free as possible, and has found an amazing bakery to produce the wedding cake. That isn’t to say she won’t be making anything tasty for the guests.
